Bio

Hello! My name is David and my artist name is starofdavid. I'm a 25 year old musician from Washington, D.C. I rap, sing, produce and engineer all my music. I was first introduced to music when I started taking piano lessons at age 10. When I got to high school, I joined the band and started playing the clarinet. From there I gained an interest in the guitar and drums, essentially setting myself up to be a one man band. I started producing and engineering when I was 15 using mainly FL Studio and Audacity but I also dabbled in Ableton, Logic and Pro Tools. My main goal with my music is to incite introspection. I want my listeners to act with love and not hate or disdain; to separate from groupthink and embrace their own opinions.
