It's not our fault we haven't yet learned to love, but yet, we must all take responsibility for the lack of love we see.

As individuals, we are all doing our best, but as a community we can all do better. Gratitude for the loves and lives, the beings seen and unseen, who give life and grant passage.

Love and Kindness are Skills. When you see someone without the skill of kindness, you might wonder, what happened to this person? What caused them to associate unkindness or violence with safety? What kindness boundaries does this person need that might assist them with gaining more skill?

Violence is passed from one person to the next. When the violence goes inward (ie: I'm unworthy, it's all my fault, self-harm, murder of the self) the autonomic nervous system (ANS) Hypovigilance / Freeze response is the leader. When the violence goes outward (they are unworthy, it's all their fault, harming the other, murder of the other) then the ANS Hypervigilance response or fight/flight response is the leader.

As children, we all have been formed by Involuntary circumstances : our genetics, our access to quality nutrition, our access to Kindness Boundaries education, our access to a caring community, our access to trauma healing, etc are ALL Involuntary. As we age chronologically, our emotional / mental / developmental age is dependent on these Involuntary circumstances. Which is why Kindness Systems is so very needed. Autonomic policies and procedures about punishment and reward do not take these Involuntary circumstances into account, "Kindness Systems" takes everything into account.
