I'm the chief evangelist of object-oriented UX, a methodology I started popularizing in 2013. 🤓 I share my OOUX methodologies at conferences, within companies, through my OOUX Certification Program, and on the OOUX Podcast. With OOUX, I help UX designers and developers make technology more humane and naturally intuitive.
I've designed a repeatable framework that teams use to collaboratively synthesize user research—defining the "strong bones" of a system, before designing a pile of screens. Experiences built on these strong bones are elegantly simple. They lead to less user training, less customer service, and less user frustration. And they are easier to build and maintain, too.
Before starting Rewired, I led UX efforts for clients such as AT&T, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Athena Healthcare, Coca-Cola, the IRS, and the Australian Tax Office. As a UX designer at CNN.com, I designed the responsive 2012 election night experience viewed by over 200 million. In 2016, I returned (as a consultant) to do it again.
Today, I focus on bringing the magic of OOUX to individuals, teams, and events around the world.
