Hello my name is Shandien LaRance.
Or Sonwai (Hopi Name)
I am a Native American Hoop Dancer.My Tribal affiliations are Hopi, Tewa, Navajo, Tewa and Assiniboine.
Before the pandemic I was Touring with Cirque Du Soleil’s “TOTEM”, Currently just trying to keep in shape as a dancer and athlete without any performance happening. I am a Master Hoop Dance instructor here in New Mexico for a couple Indigenous youth Hoop Dance Groups. Teaching over 25 students ranging from 2 years to 18 years old.

Future Goals, Endeavors and general interest include Acting, Modeling, Motivational speaking for Indigenous Peoples. As well Hoop Dance and fitness Instruction for Indigenous communities. Gardening, Hiking , Fitness, Travel. I would also like to learn Spanish and Portuguese. And a million more....
