Bio

Sohail is the Chief Executive Officer of Kindred Hospital Northwest Indiana, where he has led the 70-bed hospital’s executive leadership team, 120+ clinical staff, and 100+ physicians through the preparation and response to the COVID-19 pandemic over the last year. He was voted amongst hospital CEOs as Vice President for Indiana's Northwestern 1st Congressional District for the Indiana Hospital Association (IHA) in 2019. Serving in this leadership role during the pandemic, he has represented Northwest Indiana hospitals in a state-wide capacity regarding PPE, medical equipment needs, clinical staffing solutions, and vaccine administration/storage.

Sohail and his wife, Anum, have always found time to give back to the local community and impact population health broadly. He is on the Board of Directors for the American Heart Association (AHA) and was Executive Chairman for the Heart of Gold Gala in 2020. His efforts have led strategy and fundraising for initiatives such as safe CPR training during COVID-19 and Cardiovascular Research for Infected Patients.
