Sohail Anjum has over 10 years’ experience in film and television working across VOD and linear. He currently works for Shorts TV International, the global home of short form entertainment, where he leads the acquisitions of short films for South Asia as well as managing the Best of India Short Film Festival, which helps to give selected filmmakers a chance at Oscar qualification. In the last three years of managing the festival, Sohail has managed to watch over 6000+ short film submissions.

In his previous content acquisition role at ICFLIX, he oversaw strategy for Hindi, English and foreign language films, and TV series. Here, he negotiated license agreements and managed key relationships with regional and international major and independent studios, content providers and filmmakers.
