Growing up in a military and Jamaican household, education was very important to my family. As the first lawyer in my family, I am passionate about helping students break down generational barriers to step confidently into their future and create communities for life. I work with students on the law school admissions process as well as 9-12th grade high school students on the college application process. Through my free private facebook group Barrier Breakers: Law School Edition I host the weekly Break Into Law School q&a show and prayer call. I blog about ways we can dismantle systemic racism in education.
