Bio

Phillip Bailey is a natural leader and self-driven change agent who thrives in complex situations. He joined the Associated Bank on January 11, 2021 as the executive vice president, Director of Fraud Prevention. He is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the organization's enterprise Fraud program for fraud prevention, ongoing fraud monitoring, fraud issue and transaction identification, and ongoing reporting.

Bailey brings more than 13 years of Fraud Risk Management experience and over 16 years of total experience in the Financial Services sector. He has an extended track record of contriving and driving processes that drive productivity while improving worker functionality. His mind is always thinking of fraud prevention strategies, automation opportunities, ways to improve customer experience, and opportunities to improve quality and productivity. Previously, he held the position of Fraud Operations Manager at Chime and Enova International.

Bailey holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Roosevelt University where he was a Franklin honor recipient and graduated Summa Cum Laude. He serves as a board member for the Nat'l National Association of Black Compliance & Risk Management Professionals and is a member of the Delta Mu Delta International Honors Society. He is member of several important groups at Associated such as the Culture Team, PEAC (POC Executives and Allies Council), along with several CRG groups such as Cultural Awareness and Black. In his free time, he likes to spend time with family and friends, and he enjoys volunteering time aiding food pantries, supporting homeless shelters, and mentoring the inner-city youth on career planning and financial literacy.
