Hi, I'm Kimberly Sumpter, podcaster and business coach who encourages black women to expand their reach and share their unique stories through the medium of podcasting.

Before launching "Podcasting Essentials for Beginners" during the COVID-19 pandemic, I spent over seventeen years as a Radio Announcer, News and Traffic Reporter, and Promotions Director with a successful and rewarding career at major media brands including Clear Channel Radio, Service Broadcasting, and Radio One in Dallas, Texas.

I mentor and coach emerging podcasters with my signature "concept to launch" approach to find their unique voice as they craft compelling content for their ideal listeners. The “30 Days To Launch Podcasting Intensive” course is tailored for women who want to launch a podcast without feeling overwhelmed by the process. They learn how to build a passionate and engaged community while developing a clear and concise brand message. I currently teach the fundamentals of podcasting to students from around the world through the Classroom Au Pair program and as an instructor at the Continuing Education Department of Hudson County Community College in Jersey City, NJ.

I own and operate the Wax Kandy Candle Co. and am a Community Business Academy Instructor for Rising Tide Capital, a non-profit organization dedicated to transforming lives and communities through entrepreneurship.
