Bio
Countertenor, G. Thomas Allen (Singer/Songwriter/Recording Artist) is a highly sought-after performer and vocal coach with an innovative pedagogical approach to bridging the gap between genres including, but not limited to post-bop Jazz, Gospel, Opera and Contemporary. Made his main stage operatic debut, in 2014, with the Los Angeles Opera, lead singer on GRAMMY nominated album “Choirmaster” - Let There Be Peace on Earth (Motown Gospel 2020).
His self-titled debut album soared to No. #1 on the iTunes jazz charts, and takes top honors as the 2021 Sarah Vaughan Vocal Competition winner.
Serves on the voice faculty of Columbia College Chicago, and ChiArts!
