Simply Monica is a radio legend. She will tell you that it all began with an invitation to be a cohost. One day she got an inbox message from a friend that he needed a cohost on a fairly new internet radio station. SimplyMonica was always talking about giving artist a voice and platform and did just that!
In 2014 SimplyMonica branched out with the birth of Heat100radio, today the #1 Internet Station located in Philadelphia.
Having been crowned the Queen of the Red Carpet, she has covered Events such as the BET Awards, BET Honors Awards, African American Festival, SWS and many more over her 7 year span in the industry. SimplyMonica didn’t stop at at radio. 2015 she landed acting roles in small films and stage plays which has inspired her to write and produce her own stage play of her life in 2019. Fast forward 2020 SimplyMonica is now an Author as well.
Fascinated with radio, she knows what she was destined to do in life when when she hears her material on the air.
What follows is an amazing career as owner of one of the most successful radio stations in Philadelphia. Her wit and absorbing energy led her to now owning 50 % of a local Tv network in her hometown.
She loves what she does, carrying all of her inventory in her head and feels that even with all of her success, the best is still yet to come.
