Latonya Corliss Simms, a native of Greensboro NC, began her journey in Performing Arts in High School. It was there she realized she had a passion for entertaining. She is now continuing her pursuit of the arts through plays, films and stand up comedy routines. Inspired by comedians Carol Burnette and Lucille Ball, Latonya loves to laugh and to make people laugh but is also a very passionate actress with the ability to draw her audience into whatever role she plays. Her latest endeavors include traveling the country with Gdavis Productions starring in two stage productions, Mama’s Girls and Forget Me Not. She has shared the stage with other national talented actors and singers such as Empire’s Terrell Carter, Lil G from Silk, Calvin Richardson, Ann Nesby from Sounds of Blackness, Regina Belle and Good Times’ Bernadette Stanis.
