Engineer | D&I activist | Storyteller
I’ve spent the last few years advocating for D&I initiatives within the aviation/defense industry. I’ve worked to understand the institutional barriers to inclusion, as well as discovering my own internal barriers to feel included as a competitor in the race to success. In navigating the corporate ladder, I’ve learned that our identity plays an important role in establishing the cultural context of how we learn the rules of the game. As we take a seat at the table of self advocacy after realizing you don’t need an invitation.
I’m an aspiring writer and community builder figuring out how to share my story and the stories of others. I would love to hear all your stories as well.
