Bio

Shirah Thornton is a Wife and Mother of identical twin girls, a Television Producer, and the CEO of Teen Era Magazine, who is passionate to help the youth of this generation to live an impactful life, by persuading them to make the right choices.

While attending the University of Phoenix Shirah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, with the intent of launching her very own inspirational talk show. Shirah is no stranger to the media industry while working at the Word Network for 5 years as Production Coordinator and Television Producer she’s worked on talk show sets with people such as Snoop Dogg, Erica Campbell from the Gospel group Mary Mary, Bishop TD Jakes, and more.

Shirah’s compassion for the youth developed many years ago when she discovered that being around young people made her happy. In 2012 she launched the very first issue of Teen Era Magazine and continuously looks for more and more ways to impact them. Although Shirah is not a teen, she’s been a teen before and understands how hard life can be for teenagers. Shirah is on a mission to spread inspiration and encouragement to the youth of this generation so that they can make the right decisions in life, and achieve a blessed future.
