Bio

I’m an ex-seafarer, 👨‍✈️🌊 ex-BBC journalist 🎙🎬who owns the Fathom World site and am host of the Aronnax Podcast.

I went to sea 🚢 at 18 as a 🇬🇧British deck cadet and officer. And yes, I used a sextant and one upon a time knew my ✨celestial trigonometry ✨ I left to get a different education. Having travelled around the world 🗺 lived in many places I am now settled in Sweden 🇸🇪and focused my activities on the transformation of the maritime and ocean space where things are really beginning to happen.

Am I an entrepreneur? I may or not be, as I do not like labels, but I am building up the business and looking for new and exciting ways to be a part of our changing society.

I am an experienced event host and moderator and advisor.
