I am an independent filmmaker, educator and creative business entrepreneur with a special interest in social issues and cultural heritage. With my husband, business entrepreneur and photographer, Hitesh Adwani, I have co-founded The Open Space Society Jaipur, a private educational and cultural institution dedicated to arts and media studies. I have over ten years of international experience in both Documentary Filmmaking and Mass Media Project Management informed by an MA in Convergent Journalism from AJK MCRC Jamia Millia Islamia in Delhi. My current project is the documentary film 'Sheenkhalai- The Blue Skin' about my Hindu-Pashtun ancestors.
