Biography
Sherman Byers is a seasoned connector and veteran problem solver in the entertainment industry with over two decades of experience. Solidifying deals, connecting individuals that create hit records, superstar talent and identifying opportunities many had overlooked. Sherman Byers is the Co-CEO & Founder of RockStar Entertainment along with his brother Marc Byers started a music and marketing management firm, negotiated a Partnership at Sony/ ATV Publishing. He has worked with talents such as Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake, Usher, Eve, Chris Brown, Jamie Foxx, Raven-Symone, Dre and Vidal and Rodney Jerkins, Noticing a disconnect with Philadelphia's Urban Arts community Sherman Byers took his talent along with his relationships and cultural knowledge to consult Greater Philadelphia Tourism and Marketing, helping develop a relationship with Philadelphia's robust and diverse Urban Arts community by lending his relationships and influence to assist in building what became Philly360.com. Selected the 1st "Creative Ambassador program" a 3 yrs. partnership. Guiding GPTMC on the value of sponsoring the first "Roots Picnic “and an unnoticed demographic of visitors coming to Philadelphia every summer.
