🎬 Sheila is an award-winning filmmaker is currently producing the forthcoming Netflix TV series ‘Stay Close’ with RED and NETFLIX starring Cush Jumbo (The Good Fight), James Nesbitt (The Missing), Richard Armitage (The Stranger) and Sarah Parish (Bancroft)

Sheila has written, produced and directed several internationally renowned projects including Joy, I Am Mary and feature film Sable Fable.

In 2013 she produced the independent feature Sable Fable which went on to win Best Film at the prestigious American Black Film Festival awards in Miami, Florida. In 2016, she won the Woman of the Future award in Arts & Culture for her work in film and was invited to Buckingham Palace.

The following year her film Limbo was shot in ‪Norfolk, Virginia‬ and selected at various international festivals included Cannes Pan-African Film Festival. Following her invitation to ‪10 Downing Street‬ to meet the Prime Minister, 2018 saw her become an Associate Fellow of the Royal Commonwealth Society. In 2018 feature film The Strangers was shot and principal photography for feature film A Game of Two Halves began in November 2019 both penned by Sheila. She worked in Writer’s Rooms for two dramas being developed for NETFLIX and C4. Her short film Sometimes I Feel was selected for the Oscar qualifying PAFF festival in LA 2020.

In November 2021, Sheila secured an unprecedented development deal with the national broadcaster, SKY in which she will be creating on three original TV shows. Shortly after this announcement she was selected to join the BFI Network x BAFTA Crew 2020. She ended the year working alongside an award-winning young and sundry team, including BAFTA and Emmy award-winner Matthew Barrett and BAFTA-nominated cinematographer Miles Ridgway on ‘I Am Mary’
