Adding spice to your life, we grow a range of chillies from the mild to the wild. These little bombshells of flavour are the key ingredients in a number of products produced by others within the region and further afield. The chillies are grown in a sustainable compost made from sheep wool and wild bracken and we are phasing out all plastic use.
I believe strongly in the locality and seasonality of food and drink, which is founded from my farming background and passion for sustainability and the benefits this brings to local and rural economies. These skills are currently being used in my role as the regional food and drink coordinator in Dumfries and Galloway and in Ayrshire, as well as being part of the team at Eat Farm Now.
Most recently I founded #Run1000, a fundraising event held throughout January highlighting the positive effects that both running and walking have on rural mental health while raising funds for five rural charities.
