Shea Murtaugh on Clubhouse

Bio

As the founder and president of Hoffmann Murtaugh, Shea has built the largest media only agency in Pittsburgh. With no capital or agency experience, Shea started the company in 2004 and is now one of the fastest growing integrated marketing agencies in the city today. Shea not only leads the agency’s strategic vision, but also oversees key client relationships and business development.

Shea’s media career began in broadcast sales where she realized that she could do more to help clients, so she founded Hoffmann Murtaugh. Throughout her career, Shea’s philosophy has been to deliver actionable results that maximize her clients’ budget, while creating a true partnership with them. That philosophy has continually helped her to expand the company, most recently adding offices in both Cleveland, OH, Harrisburg PA, and Rochester, NY.

Outside of work, Shea owns a commercial real estate business, Virtual Real Estate and a property management/interior design company, WorkLive and is currently working on a downtown Pittsburgh mixed use project that will house condos with a shareable office space that condo residents can work and live in the same place. Shea is involved with several non-profit organizations in the city and in her residence of Sewickley including the Pittsburgh Film Office Board, FBI Citizens Academy, Sewickley Planning Commission, Child Health Association of Sewickley, Pittsburgh Regional Innovative Council, and the Animal Care Assistance Fund. Shea is also a member of the Women’s President Organization. A graduate of Duquesne University, Shea and her husband, Jim, reside in Sewickley, PA with their three rescued wiener dogs, Rueben, Brutus and Oliver.
