Author and Illustrator of the children’s book; My Name Makes Me Feel Special. The book is based on a true story and is about a child being teased for having a different and unique name and gaining confidence to say My Name Makes Me Feel Special. This book is a great resource for parents, teachers, counselors, and guardians as it provides open ended questions to ask children about being teased. It also teaches children to speak life over themselves through adversity.
Sharifa is also the CEO/Founder of Distinguished Intelligent Lady. A non profit organization that provides empowering, encouraging and educational workshops in person and virtually to young ladies and women.
