Shan White, CEO and founder of "Let's Talk Real Talk", created this organization to help women free themselves in a careless world. In these seminars, women are free to express and converse with each other. While sharing real-life problematic issues that they are facing in a safe, judgement-free zone. This organization was inspired by the popular quote among women of color " What goes on in my house, stays in my house." White could see through the blurred lines of this common phrase. Most of the women in her community uses this phrase as a shield for the adversity that they are facing within their households. Which is considered to be either too shameful or even downright taboo.
Shan White created the organization with hopes to empower women to be courageously open to discuss their issues. Considering the organization growing as a sisterhood, like-minded women that can share their experiences and take solace in the fact that each women would know that they wouldn't be facing their troubles alone. White also has a strict confidential code. That the women must swear to under a moral oath before joining "Let's Talk Real Talk." Shan White believes women should stop smiling in front of the camera and pretending that everything is things okay. Instead, women should have access to a safe outlet. Where they're able to heal from a form of togetherness while also moving forward.
When she is not cooking delicious meals or bringing smiles and laughter to almost everyone's face that she encounters. During her free time, White enjoys giving back to others. Whether its a sound advice, being a shoulder to lean on, acting, catering for the funeral home. Or doing weddings, making t-shirts, or working on her clothing line, and encouraging others to have faith in God. Shan White manages to be a huge part of the lives of the people in her community. White also partners with her friend Donating things over in Sierra Leone, West Africa. All while as a single mother putting her two kids through college. White was ceremoniously blessed in marriage in February of 2019. Shan White stands to be an impeccable role-model and an outstanding leader in her community.
