I help leaders develop peaceful, collaborative relationships so they can fulfill their vision, maximize their potential and enjoy the journey.
What I found is that a lot of leaders feel like other people are holding them back from fulfilling their personal and organizational vision. They feel like if they had different relationships they could make so much more progress. If they could just get rid of the “dead weight,” they could get where they are destined to go. They’re frustrated because they cannot do it alone, but they also can’t get it done with the people in their circle. They’re exhausted because instead of spending their time on vision and mission fulfillment, they’re stuck dealing with infighting, turnover, arguments and toxicity. And when they get finished being the referee or fighting themselves, they are still stuck and stressed trying to get the actual work done.
But the reality is that things will never change until they stop wishing they had a different circle with a different mindset and start becoming a Conflict Confident Leader. They have to realize that peace is not achieved through silence but through authentic, transparent voice. They have to use conflict to create peace instead of letting it disturb the peace. And they have to recognize the proper use of conflict as the most time-efficient was to develop highly productive, profitable and satisfied teams.
