Working on gender issues LGBTQ and women's rights. Presenter of MeraRanng YouTube channel, which brings out the profiles of women working in diverse fields.
As a speaker Shalini has given lectures on gender equality at IIT Delhi, Vivekananda College- New Delhi, Satyavati College- New Delhi, Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University, Gangotri Devi Mahavidyalaya, Gorakhpur, Mewar Institute-Ghaziabad. Apart from this, she has also participated in NDTV, Oxford Book Store's Pink Cup Tea, Delhi Poetry Festival and Gender Samvad Sheohar Bihar.
