Why this movement means so much to me?

I grew up playing football and was diagnosed with a concussion in my senior year that took me out for most of the season. Though the symptoms were mild, the mental health complications I derived from this brain injury lasted much longer.

I created HeadsupCAN with my best friend to create a community of individuals that share their experience and hope to become a voice that can help people going through the alienating feeling associated with brain injuries and mental health 💚
