CT VAV was founded because my 7 year old son was a victim of gun violence in 2008 while attending a local West Indian Day parade. He was struck in the head by a stray bullet. He’s now a survivor! At age 19, sophomore in college and also community activist! We strive to raise awareness about gun violence prevention. We also strive to be a resource or outlet for those who has been impacted by any kind of violence.
