- Received unheard of city, state and federal historic preservation of Seattle’s Mount Zion Baptist Church, an African-centric building, shaped like three West African huts to symbolize community. Awarded for all seven possible categories, when only one was necessary.
- Honored by Historic Seattle for above, 2019
- Fundraiser for Seattle’s Douglass-Truth Library (community rooms named for historic local families)
- Curator of McKinney Family Archives and Museum Collections
