Bio

Scott E. Jordan started www.SCOTTeVEST.com with no fashion (or product design) experience in 2000 with his wife Laura. Since then, he has built the business from a startup run from his guest bedroom into one of Inc.com's fastest growing companies, now offering more than 50 garments for men and women including jackets, pants, hoodies, lab coats, hats, even underwear.

On his way to becoming the industry’s self-proclaimed “Pocket Man,” Scott has made numerous TV and public appearances including Shark Tank Season 3, The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch, as well as recently speaking at Google HQ and on the Fashion Forward panel on wearable technology at CES 2016.

He is also the author of a highly successful book “Pocket Man: The Unauthorized Autobiography of a Passionate, Personal Promoter,” which chronicles his evolution from an unhappy lawyer to an amazingly successful entrepreneur.

Before founding SCOTTEVEST, Scott practiced corporate law at DLA Piper in Chicago and acted as Vice President and General Counsel at a Next50.com, an internet start-up. He received his J.D. from Case Western Reserve University (summa cum laude and Order of the Coif) and his B.A. in Business Administration (with a focus on entrepreneurship…before it was trendy) from Ohio State University. His favorite hobbies include skiing, amateur auto racing, yoga, and hiking with his wife Laura and their four standard poodles: Susie, Rhonda, and Sabrina.
