I have been working in communications since Fax machines were “high tech.” I have a passion for risk and crisis communications, and all things disaster and emergency management related. Some people call me a “Master of Disaster.” ⚠️

I like to share my experiences (the good, the bad and the ugly) with teams to help them prepare to respond to their next crisis. 🆘 I also do fun media training. 🎤

I am a DINFOS-trained Army Public Affairs Officer/PIO 🇨🇦veteran and I traded in my 🪖for a 👷‍♀️ to manage PR in the petro chemical industry. 🧪

I am an advocate for the timely sharing of public information and a champion of Responsible Care.

I ❤️ to 🧳. I have been all across 🇨🇦. I lived in 🇬🇧 and have stayed in a castle in Scotland, 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 been to pubs in 🇮🇪 and 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿.
Also had adventures in 🇮🇹🇬🇷🇩🇪🇨🇿🇵🇱🇿🇦🇿🇲🇫🇷🇦🇹🇳🇱🇧🇧🇦🇬🇹🇨🇨🇺🇺🇸🇨🇭🇲🇽 and the bucket list continues.
