Rasheda Abdullah Hairston is an executive producer (As the Cookie Crumbles), writer (California Love, Good Morning, Baltimore, Ok, Pollyanna), and creative director from Los Angeles, California. Her proximity to Hollywood introduced her to and nurtured her love for the entertainment industry and it's her city's influence that propelled her on a lifelong mission to tell amazing stories through television and film.

A go-getter and dreamer, her travels have taken her coast to coast and around the country; exposing her to countless stories about real people. And it's those stories and more she tells. Working with independent production companies and indie filmmakers, as well as major networks, she has also learned the importance of diligence and the power of personal influence.

Boasting a smart and witty writing style, Rasheda's ability to make you laugh, cry, and think is refreshing. Holding to the belief that the world is at her fingertips, she is a much-needed voice amongst the sea of black women with something to say.

Rasheda lives in Atlanta, GA with her husband and two beagles.
