Bio

A travelling gypsy enjoying what life throws at me. I have been living in Japan on and off for the last twenty odd years. I ran a successful educational institution for ten years in a city at the bottom of Mt Fuji.

I have extensive experience in education, liaison work between Australian and overseas companies, cultural training both in Australia and Japan and as a consultant for Japanese companies setting up in Australia. I have a strong knowledge of Japan, its culture and people.

Based in Tokyo. My passion is connecting people and sharing good things to all. I write for various websites and publications. I am an experienced tour monitor and evaluator. I help set up a mining company in Mongolia, worked for a multi millionaire Chinese woman, housesat in a 300 year old farmhouse for 6 months in rural Japan and go to radio taiso every morning. My hat rack is full and varied!

After a medical happening in Bangkok a few years ago I was unable to walk and confined to a wheelchair. (Not needed anymore) That experience gave me a totally new outlook on life and I recently I have had the opportunity to help in research to make Rural Japan more accessible. Only have one more prefecture to go until I can tick all 47. ✔️

Nowadays you can find me housesitting here and there, exploring the back streets of Tokyo by bike and snapping away everyday life in Japan from behind the lens. I like to saviour every moment like its my last milkshake.
