Hello I am Chef Santosh Hegde, a techie turned chef proudly presenting to you my brain child ‘Sancooks, Dining Experience Redefined’. The idea of Sancooks took seed during the pandemic when people who loved to enjoy good food and a fine dining experience could not go to their favourite restaurants without worrying for their health and safety. I thought it would be wonderful if people could enjoy a fine dining experience with mouth-watering food across cuisines right at their tables and that’s when Sancooks started, with the focus on providing a unique dining service at people’s homes.
In 2012 for the first ever time I had an opportunity to think of doing something about my passion and making a living out of it. The entrepreneur bug had bit me hard and that’s when I started my first ever venture called ‘Diksha Hospitality Solution’. At Diksha we started catering lunch for factory employees. Few days later the aromas of our food dragged most of the neighbourhood to our doorstep asking if we retail. The journey of serving food started right there. Somewhere during the end of 2018, I realised I am still not content. I was doing good business with food yes, but my passion was cooking. So, in the beginning of 2019, I decided to go back to college and learn to cook professionally.
As planned, I went back to college (Bangalore Culinary Academy) and then went on to get trained under experienced chefs at the TAJ Group of Hotels. After working at TAJ, I realised I wanted to do something unique, rather than working as a chef in restaurants or hotels. That is when I started to work as a private chef in Bangalore. Serving more and more people helped me understand that my clients were looking for a wholesome dining experience and were paying a bomb for the same. So, I decided to offer private chef and so much more as a service that would satisfy people’s palates and pockets.🇮🇳
