Hi there beautiful people my name is Sandra J Olive. My friends and that includes you call me Sandy. You can call me whatever you wish just don’t call me late for dinner. 🤣

My Beginnings
At the tender age of 17 I worked at my cousin’s auto parts store one evening he asked me to open the store for him and placed the keys to the kingdom in my hand. The next morning as I turned the key in the lock an epiphany occurred and I thought to myself everything I make on the other side of this door is mine! In this situation it wasn’t even my business it was just the idea that when I opened my own business whatever it was I was solely responsible for my destiny. #EntrepreneurEpiphany

My Life
The following year I opened up my first business venture partnering up with my Mum and so was born “Flowers By Bernadette” I was 19 years old. A few years later I met my soulmate and he suggested that I stop selling flowers and start selling floors😊 We had three wonderful humans and lived a Fairytale life without the Happily Ever. After 21 years we sold our business “Floors Galore” where you get so much more for less!😉 He sold millions of dollars of floors to three generations.

My Loss
Sadly he passed away at 53 after a valiant fight with Pancreatic Cancer. I was a widow at 44 with three Bambino’s.
The next two years were dark and cloudy and I held the largest pity party resulting in a two year bender that was not pretty for anyone involved.
After seven years I discovered my passion lied in helping others care for Alzheimer’s and Dementia residents. Next “Sandy’s Safe Haven” was born and I’m very passionate about the specialized care for elders suffering from this debilitating disease need. The more I gave the more I healed and once again found happiness.

My Now
My daughter Alexis introduced me to medical cannabis and I have been able to micro dose my residents with very positive results both cognitively and physically. I work on a sliding scale basis so that everyone is afforded a place to call home 🏡
