CEO & Founder of Papaya, an EdTech platform dedicated to level the playing field in STEM by democratizing accessibility to high quality private tutoring to everyone - with a focus on under-represented students.
The mission is close to my heart because I was an under-represented student myself. I did not have the time to study or the money to pay for extra help, so I resourced to find people from the best engineering school from my home country, Peru. I started excelling in my classes, so my friends asked me for my tutors.
I got a job a F500 company solving problems for Silicon Valley where I saw the lack of diversity, so I wanna pay it forward
