🇪🇸 Learned to speak Spanish by living with a host family in South America for a year.

⛵️ Sailed across the Atlantic on a 160 foot wooden ship, leading to three months shipwrecked in France

👨‍✈️ Was the youngest captain ever of a 140 foot, three-masted Schooner called the "Denis Sullivan"
—
🏔 Spent months exploring the Himalayas of northern India on an old Royal Enfield motorcycle
—
🌲 Have lead groups into the wilds of Southeast Alaska as a boat captain and wilderness guide
—
🤓 Returned to the USA to earn a masters degree in mechanical engineering from Boston University
—
🛰 Worked with BU, NASA, and the US Air Force developing satellite imaging systems. Conducting experiments in NASA's "zero gravity" plane
—
🎤 Was conceptualizing and designing mechanical engineering projects for the entertainment industry, including Disney, Cirque du Soleil, Justin Timberlake, and Metallica
—
💻 Left the 9-5 engineering job, moved onto a 32 foot sailboat, and began developing my own software
