Bemarket, a Chennai-based online health food store, is putting a modern twist to indigenous produce. Whether you prefer a pack of ready-to-eat or cooking from scratch, Bemarket has something for everyone. They have a wide range of all-natural, preservative-free products that include herbals soups, millet noodles and pasta, natural beverage mixes, ….. and even herbal cosmetics, all sourced from different corners of India.

I want to achieve two things with my business: give conscious consumers easy access to nutritious choices at an affordable cost, and at the same time support small-scale farmers and producers earn a good profit and an identity for the work they do.’

Bemarket is run by a young team of 30 people, who came together just before the 2020 pandemic started. Despite the challenges of the time, they have dedicated themselves to the conduct research on the products that they market, build a community around their suppliers, and plan for the future. As a result, Bemarket expanded their operations to 3 more states, 2 countries and is now opening their first physical store in Nolambur, Chennai. (India )
