Bio

Served the petroleum industry for 30 years with greater contribution in the area of Intelligent Energy. He served in various capacities that span across local and international levels, technical and administrative, simple to leadership roles. His contributions to the area of intelligent energy and innovation were recognized by renowned technical, governmental and social authorities. He is the recipient 2009 SPE Regional and 2014 SPE International Management and Information award, 2012 World Oil Innovative Thinker award and 2013 Saudi Arabia King’s award for innovation. He earned the 2011/2012 SPE Saudi Section "Community Service Award" for his contribution to Social programs and Community Services. He lately was a finalist in 2016 WorldOil Lifetime Achievement award. He is the Intelligent Energy focus area champion who has led several teams including the strategic team managing World's largest Intelligent Fields in Saudi Aramco.

He is a recognized technical & inspirational author and a speaker who served as a panelist, keynote speaker and discussion leader of more than 65 events around the world (19 counties) including conferences, ATWs, forums, symposia and social events. Saeed is a thought provoking author who has published about 40 articles to promote innovation and challenge conventional wisdom within & beyond the Petroleum Industry. He is the owner of avirtual technical discussion group to voluntarily disseminate knowledge about intelligent energy (http://lnkd.in/UTfANZ). His contribution includes serving the industry as the SPE 2009-10 distinguish lecturer, a member of the SPE Digital Energy Technical Section Board of Directors, a chairman of the SPE Global DE Coordination & IT/OT convergence sections; and a member of M&I SPEI award committee.
