🧩🛒Humanitarian:
Founded Bread of Life, Inc. in downtown Houston twenty-nine years ago and served 500 hot meals and an array of services daily to the homeless community for twenty-five of those years. Today I partner with Beyoncé’s BeyGood, Jack Dorsey’s Start Small LLC, Matthew 25 Ministries and has distributed 2million pounds of food and supplies to COVID 19 impacted families since the beginning of the pandemic.

✊🏾💵Social Impact Investor:
Has completed over $30million in affordable housing projects in Downtown Houston. The first of four projects is named the Knowles’ Temenos Place Apartments in honor of Beyonce and Tina Knowles Lawson and their generous donation which made the project possible. Two new $30 million projects are being scheduled for development in the very near future.

My shop is known as ThroughGood Coffee and is a labor of love in the Heights neighborhood in Houston. Our team is a unique blend of coffee experts, artist, social workers, musicians, writers, bakers, chefs, scholars, and craftsperson’s that never stop dreaming of ways to create a better world through the provision of great coffee. We have an amazing team who have honed their craft, love people, have a passion for quality, and an appreciation for fun.
