I‘ve been granted a patent for an invention that addresses one of the biggest unsolved problems for virtual reality - how to move freely without breaking immersion while minimizing VR sickness. Teleporting and walking-in-place are commonly used for VR locomotion, but there's a huge opportunity for other solutions. Like its inspiration - the "Hoverboard", HoboLoco is operated with two feet, but movement and actions are virtual.
