Ron Riley, a digital cinematographer, music producer, songwriter, musician, rapper, and singer, stirs positive vibes, life lessons, and culture views into a sound that can take you to church at one moment, and in the next, salsa you into a reflective mindset while never obscuring the integrity of his impassioned kingdom message. His skill in music production, and talent in authentic storytelling, creates projects that are not only sonically pleasing, but lyrically direct.
As a former member of Fatty Koo, an R&B and Hip-Hop sextet that became famous from their television show on BET, Blowin Up: Fatty Koo, Ron’s songwriting and producing contributed to the their music being featured on films and television shows such as Yu-gi-oh, Like Mike, Fat Albert,and Nickelodeon’s iCarly. Their first single, “Bounce,” was the anthem of the 2005 NBA Finals. After the group separated, Ron continued music production, releasing his first solo project, Jesus Christ the Conqueror, in 2011, a free album, The Prelim, in 2017, and his current project, The Perfect Imperfections, in 2019. In between music projects, Ron earned a degree in Digital Cinematography, solidifying his ability to produce his own film work. His film work opened the door for him partner with Monarch Magazine and film projects for celebrities such as Bishop T.D. Jakes, CNN’s Don Lemon and Angela Rye, Chef Marcus Samuelsson, Naturi Naughton, BMW, Buick, and Lincoln Motor Company.
