Photographer Roland A. Bland founder of The Clear Solution Photography, captures visually stunning moments, bringing your vision to life with his powerful photography.

A Native Washingtonian, Roland’s journey began as a kid with his Kodak Brownie which had been entrusted to him by his dear Uncle Doc. Years later in high school, he metamorphosed from a shy introvert to a confident novice photographer, with many of his images ended up in the school year books.

Armed with his first 35mm film camera gifted to him by his Uncle Cortez Taylor, a well-known photographer, he enrolled in his first photography class where he learned the ins and outs of 35mm photography.

As a young adult, traveling globally as a scuba diver with his mentor and fellow scuba diver Dr. Albert Jose Jones, he took his pocket camera along, capturing a full gamut of images from around the world. Together they documented their trips to entice fellow divers to join them.

It was at this juncture that Roland became convinced that Underwater Videography was the future and he began a brief career as a novice under water videographer, spending hours editing the footage captured both on land and under the sea.

With the advent of digital photography, Roland invested in a Cannon AE1 which became his new companion, as he continued to hone his skills. His passion for photography became a bonafide business and that AE1 transitioned into his first of many Nikon DSLR’s just as influencers who loved his work, like Linda Gill-Anderson, Evelyn Lugo and Carla Labat, began to hire him for shoots, events, and parties they hosted.

As Principal Photographer for The Clear Solution Photography, Roland continually hones his craft in all aspects of the business including customer relations, post processing, and image storage. He attends seminars and workshops and keeps his skills fresh and current via reading and working to stay on top of the ever-changing photography curve.

While Roland enjoys all types of photographic gigs, he is happiest working as an event photographer as it capitalizes on his communication, leadership and interpersonal skills, while giving him the creative outlet to put forth his most captivating work for businesses, corporations and individuals.
