Bio

Born & bred in West London of Irish/Caribbean descent and moved to Cornwall on the far west coast in the UK over 14 years ago. I left college back in the 80’s with a diploma in business studies and no particular direction, apart from loving fashion, music and clubbing…I can now look back and join a few dots!

Riverfish Music is an independent record label, music publisher and residential recording studio based in Penzance, Cornwall, UK.

Founded with my partner, Record Producer, Songwriter & Composer #JoeDworniak. I’m responsible for the overall business development and day-to-day running including; strategic planning, operational processes, legal & business affairs, marketing and administration.

We are a small team and therefore I have a hand in all areas; sync placement, artist development, A & R support, album co-ordination, studio management, press, promotions and social media execution.

I am a fun, creative, competent, passionate, motivated, tenacious individual with a free spirit!

I have worked for a number of global fashion, jewellery and lifestyle brands across a variety of positions including PR & Marketing Director, Personal Assistant and Sales Manager. I am a facilitator and my key skill base is in strategic planning, project management and artist development.

I have been self employed for more years than I can remember and in my time have been involved in a variety of business partnerships; Co.Producer 'Harlemation Dance Co' (dance production company with celebrated dancer/choreographer Bunty Mathias), Managing Director & Partner 'R.A.P' & 'LARACHE' (streetwear/fashion label & retail outlet with celebrated artist Hassan Hajjaj), Sales, PR & Marketing Director 'DesertRose' (small designer stationery company with artist Sandra Daniel).
