My fondest memory of Painting from my childhood was, when I was about 5 yrs old and spilled a jar full of blue paint on the paper, the table all over at an art class. My art teacher came over sat down next to me and said, let's see what we can scoop up, and then he looked at my paper and said… look you have a “big blue sky”, that is when I fell in love with art, there were no mistakes. But life took over and I made a career choice that took me as far away from art as possible, but in my heart, I knew I will go back to my childhood dream when I grow up. When I turned 50 I realized that I was all grown up and it was now. And I have not looked back. I am a self-taught artist, and I paint intuitively from my soul. All my paintings have meaning to me and sometimes I get surprised when a collector expresses those same feelings back to me. My influences of colors come from my years growing up in India, and I am inspired by the beautiful nature around me in the Pacific Northwest.

I am a Mother of Twin boys and I am a full time artist. I have been navigating the online marketing and now the digital world. I love to tell stories, but cannot find adequate words so I use paint.
