Materials Science background with 10+ years experience in industry-university-government research. Formal background in polymer science with broad knowledge of organics, inorganics and their applications across multiple industries.
Currently leading research in two diverse fields of study 1) materials informatics which combines experimental methods with data management, governance and analysis to decrease the time it takes (~10-20 years) to develop new materials for numerous applications of emerging importance. 2) Tissue engineering with a focus on rotator cuff repair via the development of immunomodulatory bio materials that promote regeneration.
Passionate about building networks, cross-cutting partnerships, learning about new fields and industry trends.
I value meeting new people and sharing new ideas.
