Rhyannon Styles is an artist/writer/performer. She was a columnist for ELLE UK which led to the publication of her memoir “The New Girl; A Trans Girl Tells It Like It Is” in 2017 by HEADLINE. She also contributes to STYLIST, Sunday Times Style, Broadly and i-D magazine. Her second book “Help! I’m Addicted; A Trans Girls Self-Discovery and Recovery” the follow up to The New Girl is due to be published in Oct 2021 by Jessica Kingsley Publishers.
Over her ten year career as a performer she has appeared at the Soho Theatre, ICA, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Barbican, Glastonbury, Roundhouse, The Glory and the Bethnal Green Working Men’s Club. Rhyannon recently graduated from the MA Solo Dance Authorship programme at the Universität der Künste (UdK) in Berlin. Alongside her writing and performance work she has appeared in advertising campaigns for TU clothing, Tatty Devine and recorded make-up tutorials for The Body Shop UK. She had a speaking cameo role in the BBC2 drama, Boy Meets Girl.
In March 2021, to celebrate International Women’s Day, Rhyannon is one of 31 women chosen by Broccoli Content to record her own short podcast under their popular Anthem’s series. Rhyannon is also a wellness practitioner and specialise’s in gong meditation and sound baths. She provides intimate sessions around Berlin where she currently lives.
