Founder of “A Puzzling Piece”

A Puzzling Piece was formed to assist families in finding resources and support for children with special needs.

Rewind to 2010 when I first got my son’s diagnosis, it was a new challenge for my entire village. While they loving supported me some days were extremely difficult. We were learning about ASD in “real-time”.

My mission for A Puzzling Piece is to create a nonjudgmental hub for other parents who might feel lost, unsure or embarrassed of the diagnosis of a special needs child.

Here we openly share our victorious milestones and challenging pitfalls.
Pre-covid we had meetups with and without the children.

My goal is for families to feel comfortable talking about autism or any other special needs without being judged or embarrassed.
