Hi, I'm Raya,
Proprietor of waistedbyraya.com and the non profit company Brown Kids Matter.
What is Waisted by Raya? it's a safe space where jewelry is created with stones and crystals, specifically waistchains and waistbeads with the intention of encouraging women to embrace their bodies and sensuality.
The waistchains I create are art more so than jewelry, they are unique and are never recreated. I do upload new jewelry every day.

Who am I?

A lesbian who thoroughly enjoys Spirituality and traveling, a sensuality guide and femininity therapist, herbal healer, motivational speaker, holistic guide and children's book author.
I truly care about the mental health of people of colour and as such, I am pursuing my Masters degree in Counselling therapy.
I think it's extremely important that we permeate spaces in society to disrupt systemic oppression and introduce anti-oppressive practices.
