🧠Statement:

As music culture shifts from a focus on media sales to streaming playback, the role of music labels will shift from being sellers of music software as a mass product to playing a more important role in recording and compiling music. I’m thinking so.

In particular, classical music, jazz, and tribal music (I am thinking especially of Ainu music) are highly improvisational and topical. Looking back at the history of various famous labels in the past, it is as plain as daylight that archiving the date and time of recording, the albums recorded and these series has a special meaning.

Hokkaido is home to a large number of classical and jazz musicians, both professional and amateur, compared to its population and economy, and has a rich musical culture that includes the world's only Ainu music. The need for a label to compile Hokkaido's unique music has become stronger in light of the above music culture and the world situation.

If my life still has a shot, I think I would be very happy to spend my life being involved in such things.

音楽文化がメディア販売中心からストリーミング再生へ伝播経路が半ば強制的に移行していく中で、音楽レーベルの役割はマスプロダクツとしての音楽ソフトの販売者という立場から、音楽を記録・編纂していく名鑑編纂役としての役割が強くなっていくと、僕は考えています。

特に、クラシック音楽やジャズ、そして民族音楽（ここでは主にアイヌ音楽について考えています）はその特性上、即興性や時事性が強く、録音した日時と纏められたアルバムやそのシリーズによってアーカイブされる事の意味が特別大きくなる事は、過去の様々な有名レーベルの歴史を鑑みれば火を見るより明らかです。

北海道は人口や経済規模に比較して、非常に多くのクラシック音楽家、ジャズミュージシャンがプロ、アマを問わず多数活躍していて、アイヌ音楽という世界で唯一の文化をその懐に抱える豊かな音楽文化の状況があります。それら北海道独自の音楽を編纂していくレーベルの必要性は、上記の音楽事情や世界情勢を鑑みるとその必要性が強くなってきています。

もしまだ僕の人生にチャンスがあるなら、そうした物事に携って死んでいく人生を送れたら、とても幸せな事じゃないかと思っています。
