Randy Villarba is a stand up comic and writer from San Diego, CA whose humor explores the joys and pain in life intertwined with a deceptively askewed point of view. He was last seen residing in Las Vegas, NV. As of now, his whereabouts are unknown.
Villarba was dragged to the American Comedy Co. open mic and his path was set. He was mostly seen at the Comedy Store La Jolla and would drive two cars into the ground grinding through three states. He had the pleasure of having shows at The Comedy Store Hollywood, Hollywood Improv, The Dirty At 12:30 at South Point Casino, V Theater at Planet Hollywood Casino, LA Comedy Club at the Strat Casino, Hooters Casino, Bonkerz Comedy, Rampart Casino, Flappers Burbank, Inside Jokes LA at Mann’s Chinese Theater, Jon Lovitz Comedy Club, Mad House Comedy Club, The Comedy Palace, Aces Comedy Club, along with various clubs, bars, mics, karaoke ambushes and private events.
Villarba was featured on Deathsquad’s Kill Tony twice. He had a record of 1-1 in Roast Battle live from The Belly Room before career made traveling to LA close to impossible.
Villarba hosts Thank You Very Little stand up comedy night at JP’s Pub in San Diego for 4 years. The Thank You Very Little show eventually found a new home in Orange County at the Auld Dubliner in Tustin, California and in the Eastern Sierra at The Public House in Mammoth Lakes, CA.
Villarba hosted the Tufnell Park Tubestop radio show at KCR in San Diego from 2002-2003. Villarba was also baritone sax player for Broken Pretzel, a national touring ska band in the 90s, touring with Reel Big Fish and MXPX.
