Ramon Jubels entered the Dutch practice in 1988 and became partner in 2000. Per 1 October 2007, after an expatriation of 5 years, he transferred to KPMG in São Paulo (Brazil) where he was responsible for the coordination of services for large international companies.
He has a wealth of experience in Consumer and Industrial Markets, Chemical and Pharmaceutical, Steel and Commodity Trading segments.
In the period 2009 to 2019, Ramon has worked as a partner of the Department of Professional Practice (DPP) in Brazil, partner of KPMG's International Standards Group, chair of the IFRS/ISA Center of KPMG's South American Cluster and coordinator of the LATAM IFRS Network.
Ramon was further responsible for the coordination of the development of knowledge on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and is an accredited Global Conversion Services Partner and as such is involved in various IFRS conversion projects.
From 2017 to 2019, Ramon led KPMG Voices, KPMG Brazil´s LGBT iniciative which is part of KPMG´s wider project on Inclusion & Diversity in the workplace.
Per 1 October 2019, Ramon assumed the position of Chief Operating Officer of DPP KPMG Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMA).
Together with KPMGs Global COO, Ramon was responsible for KPMG's revitalized project on global mobility called Global Opportunities (GO).
Ramon has a degree in Business Economics - Dutch University Degree (Drs.) from the University of Amsterdam, Amsterdam (1988) and is a chartered accountant in the Netherlands (NIvRA).
